There are several things I can do to address this:
1. [DONE] Adding a time control to each game http://wtanakagames.uservoice.com/pages/30501-general/suggestions/422605-add-a-time-control-to-all-games in combination with not clearing the board until all users indicate that they are ready to play again [DONE] http://wtanakagames.uservoice.com/pages/30501-general/suggestions/435241-get-rid-of-the-play-again-button-when-a-time-controlled-game-is-over will let you see the ending state of the board until you indicate that you’re ready to play another
2. [DONE] Adding a finished game viewer for yavalath would fix it so clicking on the game result link would show you the board at the end of the game (and let you step through to see the order of moves)
3. I’d like to re-do the way the Game Over indicator is done. Perhaps it would show up above the game instead in the “out of the screen” direction. It wouldn’t obscure the board, and I could include in the game over area a…

The “pause” and “stop” graphics have been removed and replaced with links to the main page and to the game’s specific lobby.
Admingames.wtanaka.com (Admin, games.wtanaka.com) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment One possibility is to replace "Sit" with either "Join" or "Play" and get rid of the "Stand" option completely once the game has started.
The "Stand" option between games could be renamed to "Leave" or "Quit" or "Exit"
An error occurred while saving the comment I'm not immediately sure what to do about "Sit" and "Stand". I can see how they're confusing, especially in the context of a turn based game.

An error occurred while saving the comment There's a possible problem if undo is implemented like this without confirmation -- What happens if:
1. Player A moves
2. Player B moves
3. Player A's screen hasn't updated with Player B's move and clicks on their piece to unconditionally undo their moveShould player B's move be unconditionally deleted?
And as far as UI, wouldn't it be better just to have an "Undo" button which would be common to all games, instead of a different way to undo for each different game?

An error occurred while saving the comment Here is the issue I filed before noticing yours:
An error occurred while saving the comment I noticed this too just now.
My reasoning behind having all players need to press start was to prevent this situation:
Player A creates a new game. Player B, who dislikes player A, waits until he knows Player A is not available (asleep, away, etc) and then joins and starts the game. Player A's clock runs out and Player B claims the win.

An error occurred while saving the comment I played around with calling alert() a bit more. Unfortunately it appears that if I used that to implement this feature, the user will become logged out until they get around to clicking on the alert popup dialog box. I will need to investigate and experiment a bit more.

Include who won and a link to the game result, if any, so that those messages can be removed from the chat
Include a prominent option to stand up from the game
Include either a "Play Again" button or a message saying "Press Start to play again"
Instead of having it be a transparent box overlaying the game board (which makes it hard to see the pieces sometimes), make it a separate area which comes earlier than the board in the page layout. This way, it's still prominent, but at the same time does not block viewing of the board after the game is over.
