BUG - Change the clock on HEX so that turn time resets after a SWAP.
In hex, you can play with a certain amount of time per turn, say 3 days. If the first player makes a move, then the second player waits 2 days and decides to swap (taking the first player's move as his or her own), then the first player is left with the second player's remaining time (in this case 1 day) to make his or her next move. This is a bug and should be fixed.

Allow Invite or Challenge of specific player
I would like to be able to “Invite” or “Challenge” a specific player – thus opening a game with both names. If that player doesn’t wish to play he could “Leave Game” and it would not be equivalent to a resignation.

I want an email notification when it is my turn in a game
That way, I can play a game by email (PBEM). Or if for some reason there's a need to put a game on hold and come back to it later, I know when the other player(s) have made their moves and it's my turn.

How do I see clearly who won or lost a completed game?
When my opponent finishes a game, I see the message "opponent has cleared the table," but it is not specified whether I won or lost. When I click on the game link, I see a list of moves, but no other information. Where do I go to see if I won or lost? Thanks you.

1. [DONE] Adding a time control to each game http://wtanakagames.uservoice.com/pages/30501-general/suggestions/422605-add-a-time-control-to-all-games in combination with not clearing the board until all users indicate that they are ready to play again [DONE] http://wtanakagames.uservoice.com/pages/30501-general/suggestions/435241-get-rid-of-the-play-again-button-when-a-time-controlled-game-is-over will let you see the ending state of the board until you indicate that you’re ready to play another
2. [DONE] Adding a finished game viewer for yavalath would fix it so clicking on the game result link would show you the board at the end of the game (and let you step through to see the order of moves)
3. I’d like to re-do the way the Game Over indicator is done. Perhaps it would show up above the game instead in the “out of the screen” direction. It wouldn’t obscure the board, and I could include in the game over area a…

How do I log in with OpenID?
I registered via myOpenID but I can't find a way to log in with my myOpenID.
2 votesMake sure you’re logged out and then go to http://games.wtanaka.com/login
You can get to that from the very bottom of the front page.
It could definitely be reorganized to be much clearer.

Create an "invite" tab
(received this suggestion privately)
Create an invite tab where you can create a game and invite someone to it. In this tab, you can also see invitations that people have sent to you. Perhaps there would be a visual indicator (like a number) on the tab of how many invites you have, so you would know when someone has created a new invitation for you.

Provide "Go to next Game" button
When I enter my lobby I see all of my active games. When I make my move in each game I would like to move to the next waiting game without having to go back to my lobby.
1 voteOnce you have made your move in a game, a “My next game” button will appear in the upper right. Clicking on it will take you to another of your games where it’s your turn if there is one, otherwise it will take you back to the “My Turn” tab

Single click reversal
Allow reversal of any selection by clicking again on the selected item. This is not a full turn confirmation or undo but it would solve the accidental click problem. In Connect6, clicking on either of the two new pieces (with the +) should remove them.

Auto login on feedback site
I just submitted a feedback regarding clock options not realizing that I was not logged in. When a registered user is logged into the game site, he should also be logged into the feedback site. It might be best if feedback entry requires being logged in.
1 voteOn the other hand, games.wtanaka.com itself doesn’t require users to log in, and someone was complaining about being forced to log in to getsatisfaction in order to give any feedback.

Avoid 2 Start steps to begin an Emu game
After the 2nd person sat to the game, we both had to click start before the game began. During that time the game was not displayed in either my lobby or my opponent's lobby to remind us that the game was waiting for us to do something. When we did get to the game through "Continue", neither of us had the Arrow indicating that it was our turn. This was confusing. Why not start the game when the second person sits down?

Make chat faster
Right now, the chat waits until the next time a refresh is run to send a message that you typed. It should be possible to make this faster by sending the message immediately when you chat. Perhaps an refresh could even be run at the same time if that refresh call can e optimized enough.

Make more descriptive controls
The problem with using a graphic such as the red X, double bars, left arrow, and even the words "sit" and "stand Up" is that they are NOT intuitive to everyone. I have played about 6 games and I have asked about how to be sure it is my turn, and am still trying to guess or remember what happens with the others. I would suggest less ambiguous controls. Call me picky, but it would be a better UI for me.
1 voteThe “pause” and “stop” graphics have been removed and replaced with links to the main page and to the game’s specific lobby.

Active game windows
The neatest feature I have seen on a per game site is an active window that you can minimize after taking a turn and which pops up again when it is again your turn. Send an email address and I will explain further.

How to make new game requests
I didn't see where you want me to make new game suggestions. Perhaps in Discussions or add a FAQs somewhere.
1 voteYou can suggest games at http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/46998
I also added instructions for how to suggesting games to the about page at http://games.wtanaka.com/about in the “Request a game we don’t have yet” section

Do not display tables with nobody present
The idea would be that on the individual game lobbies, the table list would only show actively used tables. Correspondence tables would need to be found elsewhere, like through bookmarks and "My turn" list. The problem with this idea is coming up with a good way to start a correspondence game in the first place. Maybe it would make more sense once there is a robust invite or challenge system up and running.
